This lens has a good reputation - rightly so. Its preset-aperture (Vorwahlblende) either drives you nuts or you can get used to it. I use it as an infinitely variable aperture ring and am quite happy with it. Don't be fooled by its "macro" designation, its closest focussing is 0.8m. It's nice, but nowhere near macro.
