Well, what is to say about me. Many of the things I like to do are listed to the left. Oh well, I could tell you about the music I listen to. Anything between Dire Straits and Sly and Robbie, with a heavy tint of "urban" music: Rap, Soul, R'n'B. I was born in 1976 which makes me, ah, well, old, by my own standards #grin#. They say you are as old as you feel. Oh boy do I hope they are wrong! ;) Seriously, after finishing school (Friedrich Dessauer Gymnasium: "Hi to my fellow Abi96s!") I began my "civilian service" (German boys have to do military service but if they don't like playing war, they can do something useful instead.) at ASB Niedernhausen. After that I still was sure that I wanted to study mechanical engineering at TU Darmstadt. I had the opportunity to gain some practical work experience prior to the studies. I worked at Opel. As I had a normal working day but no homework or similar, I was blessed with a lot of spare time which I used to work out quite a lot. I did a lot of track and field (100m and 200m sprint and long jump) rounded off with some swimming and -of course- biking. This paid off with "career-best" records :) Biking is the only sport I have pursued ever since I could walk :). Despite all the sports my figure is somewhere between a stick and a light pole. Oh well. And I am getting bald, too. But otherwise life is great. ;) My studies went really well and now I am working at University doing my PhD, dealing with hydraulic steering. Finally moved into my own flat, with my friends closer. Anyway, to say it with MTV: Let's get it on!
